Annan travel to Montrose without the suspended duo of defender Aaron Muirhead and striker David Cox.
Annan also miss midfielder Jordan Halsman who has returned to Motherwell at the end of his loan spell.
Montrose manager Steven Tweed: "We are down to the bare bones for what I envisage will be a really hard game against a side that have strengthened their squad well.
"If we can build on the performances in the last week against Albion Rovers and then Dunfermline I am sure we will do okay despite our lack of numbers."
Annan manager Harry Cairney: "A win puts us right in amongst things in the hunt for a play-off place."
