The big freeze has helped Elgin to a fully fit squad ahead of their trip to Montrose.

Defender Allan Dempsie, midfielder Ross O'Donoghue and strikers Craig Gunn and Barry Wilson have all shaken off injuries during the enforced break.

Montrose manager Steven Tweed: "We need to get back to winning ways in the league and it would be a great reward for everyone involved in helping make the pitch playable if we picked up the three points."

Elgin manager Ross Jack: "The break has been kind to us in that we got some players fully fit, however it has not been kind in other ways.

"We were on a great run so it was very frustrating that we could not build on that.

"The roads should be clear and it is all systems go. We have managed to keep the boys ticking over so we are not in too bad a shape."
