Duo back for Montrose

Montrose welcome midfield pair Paul Watson and Terry Masson back into their squad after suspension for the clash with Peterhead.

Gable Endies boss Stuart Garden also hopes to land at least one new face ahead of kick-off.

Garden said: "I am hoping to bring in a Championship player on loan, but nothing has been signed as yet.

"As a team we need to do better going forward and hopefully we can show an improvement in that side to our game against a good Peterhead side. We beat them earlier in the season and it would be great to do it again."

The Blue Toon welcome back Fraser McLaren after a hamstring injury but have doubts over strikers Rory McAllister and Andy Rodgers.

Callum MacDonald (knee), Dean Richardson (head), David Cox (foot) and Kevin Buchan (knee) all continue to be missing through injury as the Balmoor men look to recover from a 1-0 defeat to East Stirling last Saturday.

Manager Jim McInally said: "To be honest we don't need to bounce back that much as it was a good performance but we just couldn't break down a packed defence.

"Montrose have made things tricky for us in the past and I'm sure they will again."
