Montrose V Queens Park at Links Park Stadium - Match Preview

Garden without Young

Montrose will be without Lloyd Young as they look to top the table.

Three points against Queen's Park, coupled with a draw between Annan and East Stirling, would send the home side to the top of the table but they will be without Young due to work commitments.

An ankle injury keeps Alan Campbell sidelined while a hamstring problem means on-loan St Johnstone defender Gareth Rodger misses out.

Manager Stuart Garden is more interested on winning than occupying top spot.

"It would be nice to go there but to be honest there is an awful lot of football to be played before it becomes really meaningful," he said.

"Queen's Park may be bottom but they are improving every week so we have to play well."

Queen's Park, who came within three minutes of their first league win of the season on Saturday before being pegged back by Albion Rovers, will be without Grant Mosson (hamstring) and James Baty (shoulder).

Hampden head coach Gardner Speirs said: "We are getting closer to winning and would have done it on Saturday had nerves not kicked in.

"We won at Links Park last season and it would be great to do that again however they are a strong side at home this season.

"They beat the leaders on Saturday but this is a game we are looking forward to as it is another opportunity to get that win.
