Nathan Austin hits hat-trick as East Fife ease past MontroseNathan Austin's prolific scoring start to the season continued with a hat-trick as East Fife went top of Scottish League Two with a 4-1 win at 10-man Montrose.The visitors were on course for a fifth straight home victory when Ross Campbell set up Gary Fraser and he found the back of the net from the centre of the penalty area after 20 minutes.But Austin turned the game on its head with a couple of goals either side of half-time, first netting from a Fraser Mullen pass and then beating goalkeeper Ross Salmon with a close-range finish.Montrose's task got more difficult in the 50th minute when defender Greg Pascazio was shown a straight red card.The third goal arrived just before the hour with Scott Mercer's shot from the left side of area.With 12 minutes remaining Allan Walker spotted Austin in space near the penalty spot and the young forward tucked away the opportunity to complete his hat-trick and take his tally for the season to eight goals
