McIntosh sinks plucky Stirling
Leighton McIntosh scored his fifth goal of the season as Montrose overcame a spirited Stirling to win 3-2.
McIntosh crossed for Jamie Winter to hammer home from 20 yards after 23 minutes, but the league's bottom side equalised soon after through Scott Davidson's 12-yard strike after good work from Mark Ferry.
Montrose regained the lead 10 minutes before the break when Winter turned provider, crossing for Garry Wood's bullet header.
Stirling hit back again though, Davidson netting his second a minute before the break, slotting David McClune's pass into the bottom-left corner.
McIntosh saw a close-range header saved early in the second half, but grabbed the winner on the hour mark when he lashed Wood's pass high into the goal from six yards.
