Albion lose again

Stirling remain bottom of the Scottish Third Division after a 3-1 defeat at Montrose as both sides had a man sent off.

Gary Thom put the home side ahead after seven minutes, heading in a corner from Daly McSorley at the back post.

But Montrose were level three minutes later as Kieran McAnespie turned the ball into his own net from Jamie Winter's cross.

Leighton McIntosh put the visitors ahead just after the half-hour mark with a low shot from the right side of the box, before Scott Morton added the third on the stroke of half-time, slotting home a Scott Johnston cross.

Both sides were reduced to 10 men after 62 minutes, as Montrose's Stephen McNally and Stirling's Steven Weir clashed heads, referee Andrew Dallas showing no hesitation in giving both players their marching orders.
